Album and Videos – 2020

The concept is based on my research trips to Jamaica. The main focus is on the stories that the people of the island live through. Each song is a chapter and describes a space that I have entered. The recordings that were made in 2019 served as
signposts. But I worked with other
cinematographical layers. Its like wandering through the sounds like through a film.
It was about transferring the actual space into the digital world, morphing it and making it accessible. During the pandemic, it was clear to me that the internet should be the place for an „exhibition“. I worked with granular synthesis and AI techniques. With these tools, I was able to translate an analogue soundscape into the digital world and automate it.
